As the weekend approaches, new events are here to greet the players of freemium puzzle video game, Pokemon Shuffle.

Serebii, the trusted source on Pokemon games, has revealed some of the new events that will be part of the game.

Below are some of the new events for Pokemon Shuffle:

Timed Challenge: Pokemon Shuffle players will be getting a timed challenge that will be running from 7 August to 17 August 2015.

The challenge will include the top 12,000 players in Europe, 18,000 in North America and 50,000 players in Japan. Participating players will be eligible to earn Garchompite that can be used on Mega Garchomp.

Some of the top 16,000 players in Europe, 26,000 in North America, and 70,000 in Japan will be receiving Attack Power Up.

Participants who are in the top 3,000 in Europe, 5,000 in North America and 15,000 in Japan will be eligible for Mega Speedup.

Those who do not fall in the above ranking will be eligible for a Jewel.

Rayquaza Stage: Players of Pokemon Shuffle will be getting a repeat run of Rayquaza stage. This event will be running from next week to 14 August.

Participating players will be offered with the chance to catch the rare Legendary Pokémon Rayquaza.

Also, once this event ends, players will be treated with the repeat of Kyogre and Groudon event.

Pignite Challenge: Players of Pokemon Shuffle will gain access to Pokemon Pignite by participating in this event. It will be running till 17 August, 2015.

The Pokemon Safari event: The Pokemon Safari event is back and players will get random Pokemon every time. This event will be running until 17 August, 2015. Phione, Furfrou, Staryu, Starmie, Gible, Gabite and Garchomp are the Pokmeon that are involved in this event.

Pokemon Shuffle was released on 18 February, 2015 for Nintendo 3DS.

Meanwhile, players on Pokemon Rumble World have received password for 100 Poke Diamonds with the release of Pokemon Rumble World Version 1.1 on 4 August. The password was initially available only for Japan regions, but now is available for US and Europe too.

A new patch to Pokemon Rumble World takes 846 blocks to download. This patch will see the addition of a new level - Lucky Balloon. Lucky Balloon will allow players to go to places where there is a high chance of the appearance of an uncaught Pokemon.
