'Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire:' New Shiny Mega Gengar, Shaymin and Mew events announced

"Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire" ("Pokemon ORAS"), Nintendo 3DS' popular video game, has received the new events, Shiny Mega Gengar, Shaymin and Mew Event, said a post on Pokemon community blog Serebii.

Here are the new events that have been announced to "Pokemon ORAS:"

Shiny Mega Gengar event: This Japan-specific event is based on the upcoming movie, "Volcanion and The Ingenious Magearna." Players will get shiny Gengar based on the movie. The Gengar comes at Level 50 with the Gengarite. Its Moves include Mean Look, Hypnosis, Psychic and Hyper Beam.

The code would be distributed between July 9 and July 15. Players would get the code at 7-11 stores' special 7-Spot on the Nintendo 3DS. The code would work until Aug. 31, 2016.

Shaymin event: Shaymin, the Mythical Pokemon, is not found in the wild and players have to grab it from this event. Along with Shaymin, players will also get the Gracidea, to get its Sky Forme.

The event is running until July 24. The event is currently available in North America, Europe and Australia.

Players will be able to access the event through Mystery Gift > Receive Gift > Get via Internet. This event is also available for "Pokemon X and Y."

Mew event: For players of "Pokemon ORAS" in Europe, this is the second chance to get Pokemon Mew. Players will be able to access the event through Mystery Gift > Receive Gift > Get via Code.

The Mew cannot be found in the wild and the code for Mew is MEW2016. This event is also available for "Pokemon X and Y."
