"Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire" ("Pokemon ORAS"), the popular Nintendo 3DS video game that keeps getting new events regularly, has received more.
Some of the new events are specific countries as is in the case of Jervis' Gengar event. The Pokemon community blog, Serebii, has listed all the new events.
Here are the new events for "Pokemon ORAS":
Jervis' Gengar: Pokemon Shiny Gengar is set to return with special distribution event in Pokemon Centers and Pokemon Stores across Japan. The event will be available from July 30 to Aug. 31.
This special Shiny Gengar is based on the Jarvis' Gengar, seen in the movie "Volcanion & The Ingenious Magearna."
Whitney's Miltank: Players who participated in Johto Classic Battle Competition, July 31 is the last date to redeem their entry gift to all qualifying players. The gift is the Miltank, which is based on the Miltank used by Goldenrod City Gym Leader, Whitney in "Pokemon Gold & Silver."
3DS Themes: Japan gets two new themes (each costing 200Â¥), namely:
- Pokemon: Pair Art Gardevoir & Gallade includes Gardevoir & Gallade special art and Walle's theme music.
- Pokemon: Pair Art Latios & Latias includes Latios & Latias and features Soaring at Night music.
Players can also buy both in a bundle but it will cost 300Â¥.
Shiny Mewtwo: Qualifying participants of Play! Pokemon event are expected to get special codes for Shiny Mewtwo via emails. The code has to be redeemed by Aug. 21.
This is a Shiny Mewtwo with Hidden Ability of Unnerve.
Battle Competition: This competition has unique rules that do not allow players to use Mega Stones and let them use Pokemon in the National Pokedex from 001-649 aside from Mewtwo, Mew, Lugia, Ho-Oh, Celebi, Kyogre, Groudon, Rayquaza, Jirachi, Deoxys, Dialga, Palkia, Giratina, Phione, Manaphy, Darkrai, Shaymin, Arceus, Victini, Reshiram, Zekrom, Kyurem, Keldeo, Meloetta and Genesect.
Registrations are open from Aug.18 to Aug. 28. Battles will run from Aug. 26 to Aug.28.
All players who gain entry into the competition will be given a Level 35 Darmanitan that is based on N's Darmanitan. Level 35 Darmanitan features Ability Zen Mode and Moves Thrash, Belly Drum, Flare Blitz and Hammer Arm.
