Rajkumar Hirani's directorial film "PK" (Peekay) is set to create another record at the domestic box office with its first week collection report. The business report of Aamir Khan and Anushka Sharma starrer is better than "Happy New Year" and "Kick".

And if it maintains steady pace at the box office, it might beat the highest first week collection of "Kick".

Aamir's film is also set to beat the lifetime total of Ajay Devgn starrer "Singham Returns". Ajay's film, which was released on Independence Day, minted ₹140 crore in four weeks.

"PK" has so far minted ₹135.48 crore and its just ₹5 crore short of shattering "Singham Returns" record. Domestic five days total of the film stands at ₹135.48 crore, according to Bollywood Hungama.

Here is the break-up of the film: Friday ₹26.63 crore, Saturday ₹30.34 crore, Sunday ₹38.24 crore, Monday ₹21.22 crore and Tuesday ₹18.85 crore.

"PK" is maintaining strong hold at the collection centers in India during weekdays due to positive reviews and all-around buzz. The drop in its business during the weekdays is minimal.

The Aamir-Anushka starrer will fetch in good collection in its first week due to Christmas holiday. Since Thursday is a holiday across the country, the collection is expected to shoot up.

Worldwide Box Office

The film is working wonders at the worldwide box office also. The four day overseas total of the film has crossed the ₹50 crore mark.

In international market, the film is performing exceptionally well at the North America (US-Canada) box office. Within four days it minted ₹26.58 crore from the US-Canada circuit.

The five days domestic and four days overseas box office income sums up to ₹185.73 crore. And after adding the sixth day domestic total "PK" nett income will surpass ₹200 crore mark at the worldwide collection centers.
