Johnny Depp, Orlando Bloom and Keira Knightley starrer Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales has reportedly been leaked online. But is it true? According to several reports, the full movie has been made available on Pirate Bay for the viewers to download it for free and that too in Blu-ray.

Well, don't get too excited! Because the news is fake and all the reporters, as well as pirates, were 'trolled', according to TorrentFreak.

So, what exactly happened?

Earlier this week, Deadline reported that an anonymous group of hackers had threatened to leak an unreleased Disney movie on the internet if Disney failed to pay the ransom they demanded in Bitcoins. But without revealing the name of the movie, Disney CEO refused to pay the ransom at a press conference.

Subsequently, some torrents files indeed appeared on torrent website The Pirate Bay, but they turned out to be fake, according to TorrentFreak.

Initially, a torrent file was spotted on The Pirate Bay, which was pretty small (200MB). It turned out to be fake. Then another one followed, carrying the name of movie distribution group ETRG. It was also fake. They were later removed from The Pirate Bay.

Later, a 54GB file appeared on The Pirate Bay which actually had "DARK-OVERL" (TheDarkOverlord) in the title. But that was a fake torrent as well.

"Turns out, the iso contains a couple of .rar files that house a bunch of Trolls DVDs. I hope everyone learned their lesson, if it's too good to be true it probably is," a source told TorrentFreak.

Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales opens in theatres on May 26.
