In memory of the devastating 9/11 attacks on the World Trade Centre, states across the United States observe Patriot Day. This year it falls on Friday, and in commemoration of the same, we have compiled celebrity quotes on the attacks, some of who believe that the media has not reported the complete truth about it.

President Obama: "Even the smallest act of service, the simplest act of kindness, is a way to honor those we lost, a way to reclaim that spirit of unity that followed 9/11."

Sarah Hyland – "12yrs ago was a defining moment n my life as a New Yorker.I will never forget that smell. That skyline. That terror.Prayers for those who lost."

Harry Styles – "Love and prayers to anyone affected by 9/11. We will never forget."

Demi Lovato – "My prayers are with the friends and families who lost loved ones on this day 12 years ago... #9/11 #NeverForget"

Mark Ruffallo - "The fact that the 9/11 investigation went from the moment the planes hit to the moment the buildings fell, and nothing before or after, I think, makes that investigation completely illegitimate. If you're going to do a crime investigation, you have to find motive. We didn't follow that. It was quickly pushed away, obviously. There was no evidence at the biggest crime scene. None of us know what happened but I'm totally and completely behind reopening that investigation. Where is the money? Follow the money, guys!"

Charlie Sheen – "I understand in the interest of national security that maybe not release the Pentagon cameras but what about the Sheraton, what about the gas station, what about the Department of Transportation freeway cam? What about all these shots that had this thing perfectly documented? Instead they put out five frames that they claim not to have authorized, it's really suspicious."

Rosie O'Donnell – "I do believe it is the first time in history that fire has ever melted steel. I do believe that it defies physics for the World Trade Center Tower Seven, building seven, which collapsed in on itself, it is impossible for a building to fall the way it fell without explosives being involved..."
