Deepika Padukone, one of the most sought after actresses in Bollywood, is now a global icon after her Hollywood debut alongside Vin Diesel in XXX: Return of Xander Cage.

The gorgeous actress recently shot for a popular beauty brand's commercial in Bangladesh. In the new ad, Deepika shines in a Sabyasachi sari as she says she is a traditional and simple girl at heart despite the glamour and fame she has achieved in Bollywood as well as in Hollywood.
Meanwhile, Deepika, who recently attended the Met Gala event, will be making her debut at Cannes Film Festival next week.
As for her Bollywood films, the Bajirao Mastani actress is busy shooting for Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Padmavati alongside beau Ranveer Singh and Shahid Kapoor. Padmavati will see Deepika as queen of Chittor, Rani Padmavati, while Ranveer will be seen as ruler Alauddin Khilji. Shahid will essay the role of Rani Padmavati's husband, Raja Ratan Singh of Chittor.
There were reports recently that the actress will work with ex-boyfriend Ranbir Kapoor again in Vidhu Vinod Chopra's next. The actors are apparently in talks regarding the project.
