OPPO is clear about one feature in all of its phones – the camera. For a company, which calls itself a camera phone company, the latest smartphone in its portfolio is just the right fit. Following a stream of leaks, OPPO has finally launched its R11 smartphone in China and it will be available June 10 onwards.

OPPO R11 is pretty strong on the camera bit and bears an uncanny resemblance to the coveted iPhone 7 Plus. OPPO R11 is also the first phone with rear-facing dual camera setup, which combines a 20MP and a 16MP lens with dual LED flash. There's a 2X optical zoom, Qualcomm's Spectra ISP and iPhone 7 Plus-like Portrait Mode to capture photos with Bokeh effect.

The horizontally aligned dual camera at the back of the phone on a sleek metal unibody makes the R11 look a lot like Apple's flagship. On the front, there's a 5.5-inch Full HD display with a physical home button with a fingerprint scanner. The power button is on the right and the volume controls sit on the left side of the phone. The phone has a 3.5mm headphone jack at the bottom edge alongside a microUSB port for charging and data transfer.

Besides the dual rear camera, the R11 also has an impressive 20MP selfie snapper, which is highly unlikely to leave you disappointed. The cameras aren't the only USPs of the phone, as the R11 comes is the first smartphone to come with Qualcomm's latest Snapdragon 660 chipset.

The smartphone is paired with 4 gigs of RAM and has 64GB onboard storage. Under the hood, it packs a 2,900mAh battery, which is said to deliver up to a day's battery life with mixed usage. Finally, the handset runs Android 7.1 Nougat-based ColorOS on top.

OPPO R11 comes in three colour variants, Gold, Rose Gold and Black. While the front bezels are white on gold and rose gold, the black variant gets a full black look. There are debates over the phone's pricing as the company hasn't revealed it yet. But recent rumours have suggested that R11 would be priced at $485 (roughly Rs. 31,200).

Once the phone hits the Chinese market this weekend, we'll know the phone's price for sure. As for the international availability including India, expect at least a month's delay after the R11 is available in its home market.
