Popular Chinese start-up, One Plus is reportedly planning to release its flagship smartphone 'One' 16GB model in India soon.

The company (via Facebook and official forum page) teased a poster displaying 'Cashew nuts' with a not-so cryptic tag -- "What Cashews and OnePlus One Have in Common? Silky White is coming soon" -- hinting OnePlus One Silk White. The 16GB model currently out in the global markets will finally set foot in the subcontinent.

However, the company refrained from revealing the details regarding device's price and release date and time. But interestingly, OnePlus' official e-commerce affiliate Amazon India jumped the gun by briefly listing the aforementioned Silky White One model.

Technology blog, The Techolic, using OnePlus One 64GB invite, successfully accessed the aforementioned page. Once the word got out in the media, it was taken off the website. But by then the blog had taken a screen shot of the page confirming that the 16GB model will be aggressively priced at ₹18,999, which is ₹3000 less than the 64GB model.

OnePlus's move to introduce 16GB model in India does not surprise many because the company plans to sway consumers with a cheaper alternative to Xiaomi Mi4 (both 16GB and 64GB) which is going on sale for ₹19,999 and ₹23,999, respectively on 24 February.

Even during the Xiaomi Mi4 debut Flipkart flash sale on 10 February, OnePlus allowed buyers to book the flagship smartphone 'One' without any invitation.
