Kylie Jenner has been forced to shut down Kylie Cosmetics, temporarily, owing to the California wildfires. Surprisingly enough, this was also after Kylie Jenner introduced the latest range of her luxury makeup brushes that got slammed on social media for "ridiculous" price range.

Kylie cosmetics tweeted on Sunday morning, saying, "[W]e have been significantly impacted by the wild fires [sic] in Southern California, and had to temporarily shut down our facility to ensure the safety of our staff."

According to the company, several members of their staff have had to be evacuated from their homes and relocated, along with their families. They say they are "working around the clock to get orders out."

And talking about orders, Kylie Jenner herself has been buzzing over social media and not just because of her pregnancy rumours.

Three days ago, Kylie took to Instagram to share a teaser clip of her luxury makeup brushes which were priced at $350 (£268). Soon, there was a huge uproar over the excessively high price range.  Even though Kylie tweeted, breaking down the expenses, it didn't go well with her followers.

In the tweet, Kylie said: "I have developed for you guys the most amazing luxury brushes ever. 'I am very excited! Real brushes don't compare to synthetic brushes. Different performance/ quality/ everything."

The youngest sibling of the Kardashian-Jenner clan continued, sharing: "I am 100% down to do an entire synthetic line in the future which will ultimately be cheaper."

But from pointing out how "ridiculous" the price of these brushes are to mentioning how a lot "more" could be accomplished in that amount, Kylie's followers seemed to be rather against the entire line's pricing.

Some of them even claimed, "Thanks but I'll buy food with that money instead [sic]." Another wrote, "[sic] You can get better quality makeup brushes at target, kylie Jenner is full of herself and exactly why I will never invest my money into her products."

In an attempt to defend herself, Kylie also posted screenshots of different make up brush sets online that are priced at the same range as hers, and added, "I always fight for the lowest price on all my products. Here are some other real brush lines for reference."

These included brush sets from MAC Cosmetics, Net-A-Porter, and Kevyn Aucoin. Ouch, looks like Kylie can't brush off these criticisms the way she has been doing with her widespread pregnancy rumours!
