Director BV Nandini Reddy's Telugu movie Oh Baby starring Samantha Akkineni, Naga Shaurya, Lakshmi and Rajendra Prasad, has received positive review and rating.
Oh Baby is a fantasy comedy film, which is an official remake of the South Korean film Miss Granny. Nandini Reddy has written the screenplay for the movie, which is produced by D Suresh Babu, Sunitha Tati, TG Vishwa Prasad, Hyunwoo Thomas Kim under the banners Suresh Productions, People's Media Factory Guru Films, Kross Pictures.
It has received a U certificate from the censor board and its runtime is 2.41 hours.
Oh Baby story: The movie is about a 70-year-old Savitri/Baby (Lakshmi), who is foul-mouthed, stubborn, controlling and shameless lady and she has a difficult relationship with her daughter-in-law. She decides to take the last photo of her life. But she finds herself transported in the body of a 20-year-old girl (Samantha) when she comes out of the studio. How she embarks on a quest for happiness forms the crux of the movie.
Analysis: Oh Baby has an interesting premise and Nandini Reddy has made some minor changes to the original script to suit the taste of the Telugu filmgoers. The first half is quite entertaining and some funny scenes keep you engrossed in the narration. The second half is high on the emotional quotient and lesser entertaining said the audience.
Performances: Samantha Akkineni carries the weight of the movie on her shoulders and her presence holds the film together. Her performance is undoubtedly the highlight of the flick. Lakshmi, Naga Shaurya, Rajendra Prasad, Jagapathi Babu, Rao Ramesh, Teja Sajja and Pragathi have done equally well and their performance is also among the things to look out for, say the viewers.
Technical: Oh Baby has amazing production values and beautiful picturisation and locations, songs and background score and punch dialogues are the attractions on the technical front, the audience added.

#OhBaby (Telugu) - Interval - The fantasy element is fun and a few comedy moments are enjoyable. The situations are written neatly, but not delivered convincingly on screen. @Samanthaprabhu2 is cute, but sadly overacts at some places.
