Not Sara Ali Khan but Katrina Kaif to star opposite Sushant Singh Rajput in Kedarnath?

The debut film of Sara Ali Khan, daughter of Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh, has been the talk of the town for many months now. After many speculations, it was confirmed recently that the star kid will make her Bollywood debut opposite Sushant Singh Rajput in Abhishek Kapoor's upcoming film Kedarnath.

However, it turns out that Sara has lost the opportunity to an A-listed actress. According to a report in Asian Age, Katrina Kaif has bagged the role and will star opposite Sushant Singh in the Kai Po Che director's next.

This is the third time Katrina and Sushant have been approached for a movie. Earlier, Sushant was offered Fitoor, which he had to let go as his dates got clashed with Shekhar Kapoor's Pani. Later, the actors were approached for Karan Johar's Driver which never took off.

"It's third-time lucky for the Katrina, Sushant pair. Kat was going to be cast opposite Sushant in Fitoor and then in Karan Johar's Driver. These movies never happened, but they're finally together," a source told Asian Age.

Meanwhile, the news of Katrina in Kedarnath has come as a surprise since Kapoor himself had confirmed about Sara being roped in for his film opposite Sushant. Earlier, Karan Johar and Salman Khan's name were associated with launching Saif's daughter. Now, we wonder which movie will Sara finally make her Bollywood debut with.
