Nokia 9 prototype specs, images and camera samples leaked

Freshly leaked images and camera samples of Nokia 9 prototype have surfaced online, revealing tons of details regarding the smartphone's internals including a blue case, 13MP dual lens snapper on the back and a fingerprint scanner among others.

Folks at FrAndroid were reportedly permitted by Nokia to take pictures of the prototype on the condition that the key design elements of the handset remains concealed. One closer look at the leaked images of Nokia's first dual camera phone reveals the horizontally placed 13MP dual camera with laser assisted autofocus (the portion of the black circle underneath the lenses).

The handset is seen running some benchmark (above) in a few of the leaked photos, which confirm a bunch of key features including Snapdragon 835 processor, 4GB of RAM, 64GB of internal storage and 5.27in WQHD screen. Its screen brightness could go up to 530nits as per the leak.

Despite being a prototype, the camera samples (below) reveal a great deal of detail and promise decent performance with its power-packed dual-lens snapper.

Nokia 9's screen inherits the same physical home button found on its predecessors: Nokia 3, Nokia 5 and Nokia 6. The home button can double up as a fingerprint scanner.

The phone's top panel features the famed 3.5mm audio jack while the bottom panel flaunts the industry-standard USB type-C port. The handset is touted to run stock Android 7.1.1 Nougat out of the box.

The leak also suggests the phone will come with an aluminium build while the latest rumours indicate it may retail at $700.
