Nikhil Siddhartha, who has scored back-to-back hits with "Swamy Ra Ra" and "Karthikeya", is now returning to the big screen with "Surya vs Surya", which is releasing in theatres on 5 March. The advance booking for the movie is now going on in full swing.

"Surya vs Surya" is a romantic thriller that deals with a rare genetic disorder, Porphyria. Karthik Ghattamaneni, who has earlier handled the cinematography for "Swamy Ra Ra" and "Karthikeya", is the independent director of this movie. Besides direction, he has also written the script for the film, which also marks the acting debut of actress Tridha Choudhury.

"Surya vs Surya" recently cleared censor formalities and got a "U" certificate from the Censor Board, which has described the film as a clean family entertainer. On 3 March, Nikhil Siddhartha tweeted, "Surya vs Surya Has received a CLEAN U CERTIFICATE from the CENSOR OFFICIALS... very happy to be a part of film thay can b eatched by everyone."

Malkapuram Shiva Kumar has produced "Surya vs Surya" under the banner Suraksh Entertainment. The producer has shelled out a huge amount of money on its promotion. His team has adapted several unique promotional strategies. On 2 March, Nikhil Siddhartha posted some photos featuring its publicity techniques.

Besides photos, Nikhil Siddhartha also wrote, "Promotion going in full swing for surya vs surya match 5th release... Here is behind bus seats in the local rtc buses." Later, he added: "Had a long day promoting the film.Yes there r jus 2 mor days 2 go for SURYA VS SURYA. Here is a pic doing a holi prog."

"Surya vs Surya" is releasing as a holi treat for the fans of Nikhil Siddhartha. Its makers have grand plans for its release across the globe. Its theatre list featuring in various newspapers and websites show that the film will release in 130+ screens in Nizam, 55+ in Vizag, 40+ screens in Krishna and 75 screens in the USA.

The Nikhil Siddhartha-Tridha starrer is likely to release in more than 700 cinema halls across the globe. The makers made advance ticket booking available on 3 March and the movie has registered an average of 30% booking for its opening day. Its advance booking is expected to record 60% by this evening.

Soon after the advance booking was made available to the public, Nikhil Siddhartha took to his Twitter page requested all his fans to watch "Surya vs Surya".
