NFL Player Darnell Dockett Posts Tight Jeans Photo of Malia Obama on Instagram

Re-establishing the popularity of 16-year-old First Daughter Malia Obama, NFL star Darnell Dockett risked dire consequences and reposted a picture of the teenager wearing tight jeans on Instagram.

The incident happened the same day a GOP staffer resigned for having criticized the President's daughters, Malia and Sasha, for their appearance at the annual White House turkey pardon ceremony.

The photo that the 33-year-old Arizona Cardinals defensive end reposted was a screenshot from an NBC affiliate of Malia wearing tight jeans and leaning against a railing. Some people took to social networking site Twitter to discuss the shape of her rear.

The photograph was originally posted on Instagram by user @dreday_4 with the caption: "When is her prom?"

Dockett first commented on the picture writing: "Omgggg," and then reposted it with caption: "Lmfaooo," The Huffington Post reports.

Earlier, when Republican ex-Communications Director Elizabeth Lauten had condemned the behaviour of the First daughters, she had been flooded with criticism. Similarly, Dockett's action was also slammed by the First family loyalists and by fans of Malia and Sasha Obama.

According to the New York Daily News, Cynthia Wesley on the website TheGrio.com, "That is not cute. If you had a daughter, you would want men of all ages to respect her . . . one's mouth is one's biggest enemy."

Following criticism, Dockett deleted the post and responded to the situation Wednesday on Twitter. He wrote: "Yall chill I never said anything about the presidents daughter "not one thing" all I did was repost my boy IG pic. Get your facts straight!"

Minutes later he wrote another post on the social networking site, "And fyi people I do have a daughter so think what yA want! I post what I want ESP if it's funny to me! Seems to me yall need to lighten up."

The tweets were retweeted scores of times. This is, however, not the first time Dockett has found himself in a controversy. Previously, he had refused to apologize for posting an Asian joke that he had put on Twitter. He also got into a Twitter spat with former Alabama quarterback Aaron McCarron over his present wife, who was his girlfriend at that time.
