BSNL has newly announced a new Freedom Plan whose USP is its 730 days validity that allows subscribers to make voice calls to even other networks including roaming at just 25 paise per minute for one month. This Freedom Plan, priced at Rs 136 also offers as much as 1GB data for free for the first 30 days.
BSNL's Rs 136 Freedom Plan, with a validity of 730 days, is applicable to both new and old customers. Gauging its offers, the plan seems to be a direct competitor to reliance Jio, which is now rumoured to extend the validity of its free Jio Welcome Offer till March 2017.
As far as BSNL's Rs 136 tariff is concerned, it is applicable to prepaid users and offers full talk value. After one month, voice calls (both local and roaming) will be charged at 1.3 paise per second.
