There's no more hiding for Neha Dhupia and Angad Bedi now. The couple on Friday, August 24, took to social media to clear the air surrouding Neha Dhupia's pregnancy by sharing the baby bump pictures. They added that the speculations have eventually turned out to be true.
Though the couple are still maintaining secrecy around the pregnancy, it has now been learnt that Neha and Angad's first baby is due in November this year, according to Mumbai Mirror.
For the past few weeks, Neha had been hiding the baby bump sometimes behind loose dresses, her husband, bags, jackets and underwater whenever she uploaded her pictures on Instagram. After announcing her pregnancy, Neha, who walked with her husband Angad at the ongoing Lakme Fashion Week Winter Festive 2018, was seen flaunting her baby bump on the ramp.
The couple, for the past few days, had been planning to make an official announcement about Neha Dhupia's pregnancy whenever they were ready. They got married on May 10 in a hush-hush wedding ceremony according to Sikh rituals at a gurudwara in New Delhi.
Earlier, Neha Dhupia's father Pradip Dhupia had refuted the pregnancy reports and said that there is no such thing at all. "People will keep talking about things and spread rumors as per their wish," he had said. Angad Bedi, too, had categorically denied the news when he was asked whether she was pregnant during the promotions of Soorma.
But now Neha and Angad are gearing up to welcome their first child into this world probably in November.
Earlier, Angad had talked about having kids and striking a work-life balance.
"Work is important, but there is a life beyond that. Kids are an extension of you and it is important to raise them well. If that requires sacrifice, even professionally, then we will do it. The happiness of having a child cannot be matched by any number of zeroes on a cheque. So, you got to look at life from that perspective," Angad had said.
