Power star Puneeth Rajkumar's "Mythri", which features Malayalam superstar Mohanlal in an important role, has released in theatres on 20 February and garnered positive reviews from both viewers and critics.
"Mythri" is a social drama written and directed by "Jatta" Giriraj. The movie has an interesting story that is based on the real-life incidents that Giriraj came across. The movie revolves around the story of a yongster, who recalls his lost childhood and the characters that he comes across in his life.
Puneeth Rajkumar has played the protagonist in "Mythri." Viewers say it is not a regular Puneeth film and it hardly has any of his punch dialogues, dance and fight sequences. The film features a different Puneeth. Mohanlal, "Aa Dinagalu" fame Archana, Bhavana, Atul Kulkarni and Ravi Kale have played important roles in the movie, which has Ilaiyaraaja's music and Krishna Kumar's camera work.
