The upcoming Mobile World Congress 2015 (MWC 2015) will see clash of titans with two flagship devices – the HTC One M9 and the Samsung Galaxy S6 – arriving on the same day. Sony is also releasing its next-generation smartphone, the Xperia Z4 but it is likely to be announced a day or two after HTC One M9 and Galaxy S6 are unveiled.

Both HTC One M9 and the Samsung Galaxy S6 are expected to be unveiled on 1 March though their release dates are not known yet. Comparisons between the devices are bound to happen, and they could end up eating into each other's revenues.

The HTC One M9 is expected to sport a 5-inch FHD Display, powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor clocking at 2.0GHz + 1.5GHz, and run on Android 5.0.2 with Sense 7.0 (TBD for Android version), according to Upleaks (via GSM Arena). It is also expected to come packed with 32/64GB internal memory with 3GB RAM and micro SD Card slot.

There were also reports that the device would boast of features like 20.7MP main camera with Dual LED Flash and 4MP UltraPixel front snapper, 2840mAh Battery, support VoLTE, Carrier Aggregation and LTE Category 6 up to 300Mbps for Download, 50Mbps for Upload, Bluetooth 4.1, and BoomSound speaker.

On the other hand, the Samsung Galaxy S6, codenamed "Project Zero," is expected to come with features like 5.5-inch display with 1440 x 2560 pixels, Exynos 7420 processor, and Android 5.0 Lollipop, according to a report by CNMO (via Phone Arena). SamMobile claimed in a report that the next-generation smartphone would house a 16MP camera and Sony IMX240 sensor that is used in the Galaxy Note 4.

Meanwhile, both the HTC One M9 and Samsung Galaxy S6 are expected to have some common features like all-metal body, 64-bit processor, 16 MP camera, and batteries below 3000 mAh.
