The new trailer of Tom-Cruise starrer The Mummy just dropped and the new promo shows the biggest spoiler about the movie, Cruise will play host to the Mummy, Princess Ahmanet.

Caught between the battle of new age Gods and Monsters, the new trailer confirms that Cruise has to turn into a monster. "It takes a monster to defeat a monster," the trailer informs. But will he take over as the new monster in the next Mummy movie?

In the final trailer let's in more into the story as Cruise is, once again, informed about being crused. However, in the new promo shows more scenes between his character and Sofia Boutella's Mummy. There are numerous scenes showing the two in action: Cruise attacked by the Mummy turning into the monster, the Mummy attempting to win over Cruise and Cruise attacking her to protect the world.

The Mummy's trailer reaffirms that the movie will be a visual splendour. With Mummy's flying all over the trailer, you could expect a deadly battle scene in the climax. But will the Mummy face her end or will she take abode in Cruise's Nick Morton? The answers will be revealed after the movie's release.

The third and final promo comes right before the tickets go up for sale. With new insights on Cruise's chase to survive, Universal Picture attempts to push the envelope a little more and give fans a sneak-peek into the horror movie.

The film is directed by Alex Kurtzman, the film stars Cruise, Boutella, Annabelle Wallis, Jake Johnson, Courtney B Vance and Russell Crowe among many others.

The official synopsis reads: Thought safely entombed in a crypt deep beneath the unforgiving desert, an ancient queen whose destiny was unjustly taken from her is awakened in our current day. She brings with her malevolence grown over millennia and terrors that defy human comprehension.

From the sweeping sands of the Middle East through hidden labyrinths under modern-day London, The Mummy brings a surprising intensity and balance of wonder and thrills in an imaginative new take that ushers in a new world of gods and monsters.

The Mummy resurrects on June 9.
