A railway court in Maharashtra's Palghar district has directed three men to clean Vasai railway station for three days as punishment for taking up the 'Kiki challenge' on a moving train.

The viral Kiki challenge involves dancing to Drake's song In My Feelings and has raised several questions regarding the safety of people. About a week ago, a video had gone viral on social media and garnered over 1.5 lakh views.

It had shown three men performing on Drake's song at Western Railway's Vasai station and on an ambulance. The owner of the ambulance was also arrested by the police. The three men were identified as Shyam Nishant (20), Dhruv (23) and Sharma (24).

A Railway Protection Force official stated that the three men were produced before the court and have been asked to clean the railway station for three days. They are also required to inform and aware passengers to not pursue hazardous stunts like the Kiki challenge.

"The railway court ordered that the three men would clean all platforms of Vasai station from 11 am to 2 pm and then, between 3 pm to 5 pm, will create awareness among commuters of the dangers of stunts like the Kiki challenge," the NDTV quoted the official as saying.

Here are some reactions to the announcement of punishment on social media.

Police first arrested Sharma from a mall. He informed the police about the whereabouts of the other two, who run a channel on YouTube.

A case has been filed under sections 156 (performing stunts), 154 (endangering the safety of passengers), 147 (entering railway premises or damaging property) and sections 145 B (indecency or nuisance) of The Railways Act.

They can be jailed for up to one year along with a fine of Rs. 500.
