Motorola has reportedly started rolling out the latest Android v4.4.4 KitKat to its flagship Moto series smartphones in the country.

Motorola India took to Twitter to confirm that Moto X, G and E would receive the new Android OS software this week.

Since the roll out is carried out in phases, it would take some time to reach all corners of India. Hence, Moto series smartphone owners are advised to be patient.

Last month, Motorola had released Android v4.4.3 in North American regions.

However, Google rolled out a minor v4.4.4 KitKat software, before the Android firmware could reach other regions.

Now, the American company is skipping the v4.4.3 version and directly releasing Android's latest v4.4.4  software  in India.

The new v4.4.4 is said to include the enhancements announced in the previous update (v4.4.3) and come up with additional bug fixes for OpenSSL-related vulnerabilities.
