After days of teasing, Motorola officially launched the new Moto X Play in India on Monday (14 September).

The new Motorola Moto X Play houses a massive 3630 mAh battery which is capable of running the phone for more than 30 hours under mixed usage. It also boasts of a TurboPower feature, which lets the battery to get supercharged within 15 minutes and is enough to run the phone for close to 8 hours.

Another notable feature of the Moto X Play is the camera. It's 21mp camera boasts of a Color Correlated Temperature (CCT) flash with dual LED flash, burst mode, night mode, f/2.0 aperture, PDAF (Phase Detection Auto-Focus), quick capture (twirl smartphone twice to launch camera) and Video HDR. And on the front, it comes packed with a 5mp camera

Motorola Moto X Play India Price and Availability:

The company has confirmed that the Moto X Play sale will go live on Monday midnight (technically 00:00 am, 15 September) on Flipkart. It will be available in two storage variants - 16GB and 32GB – for Rs.18,499 and Rs.19,999, respectively.

There is no word on the release of the Moto X Style in India, but the company's official e-commerce affiliate Flipkart's director Sandeep Karwa (via Twitter) has promised that the flagship smartphone will indeed set foot in India, in about a year.
