Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo episode 17 preview; Wang So, Hae Soo to land in big trouble?

Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo fans will finally get to watch the transformation of Prince Wang So to King Gwangjong in episode 17. The sequel will air next Monday, October 24, at 10pm KST on SBS.

After the series of events that took place in episode 16, the viewers were overjoyed with the cliffhanger that featured evil King Jeongjong's destiny. In the sequel, Astronomer Choi informs the fourth Prince that the king is ill. One of his monk's got hit by lighting and he is struggling to revive from the shock.

Although Hong Jong-hyun's character finally got to pay for all of his dark moves, he does not seem to be ready to give up. In the official trailer for the next episode, he is seen torturing the female lead and blaming her for everything that has happened to him.

The promo also shows princess Yeon-hwa reminding the male lead that if he wants the power then he should be willing to give up certain things, indirectly indicating Hae Soo. But he said not seem to be moved up her words as the clip features a romantic sequence between him and the court lady.

The sneak peek video shows Lee Joon-gi's character asking the female lead, "You said wanting both the throne and you are just my greed. But now you have become the King's wife. How should I accept it?"

The trailer also features a conversation between Queen Sinmyeongsunseong and his son, wherein she requests him to abdicate the throne to Prince Jung. But he decides to hand over the power to the fourth Prince before taking his last breath.

The 30-second-long video even shows Queen Sinjeong blaming Lee Ji-eun's character for ruining her son's life. She is seen saying, "You are just a thief who stole my son's throne." The clip ends by featuring an aggressive Prince Wook and a furious King Gwangjong.
