Hrithik Roshan is known to pick his projects in such a way that dates do not collide.

Now that Ashutosh Gowariker's "Mohenjo Daro" is nearing completion, the superstar will begin working on his next that is to be directed by Sanjay Gupta. Sources suggest that it has been decided to create a lavish set for the 'ambitious' project.

However, what's interesting to note is that while the filmmaker says the team is on the lookout for a lead actress, a Mumbai Mirror insider informed that Kareena Kapoor Khan has expressed that she likes the script but is yet to okay it.

"Yes, the makers have approached Kareena and she has liked the script. It is a daringly different and challenging role. She's good friends with Hrithik and keen to pair up with him but she has yet to sign on the dotted line," the source further elaborated.

Hrithik, who was to begin the film sometime in mid-2016, is all set to shoot the solo sequences February onwards.

"Thug" was to go on floors in early 2016, but with this film taking up a chunk of the coming year, accommodating the Yash Raj Films production looks difficult.

"Hrithik will be filming his solo sequences first, and a lavish set will be designed in a Mumbai studio in January. The leading lady will be locked next week," added the source.

The suave actor is currently working on Gowariker's magnum opus, and Kareena is finishing up R Balki's "Ki & Ka" alongside Arjun Kapoor.
