When it comes to making a career in Bollywood after having won the crown, not all Miss Indias were as lucky as Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Priyanka Chopra. While these two glamorous women struck gold at the showbiz, there are many others who faded into oblivion.

From Dia Mirza to Neha Dhupia, these beauties could not go too far in their career as Bollwood actresses.

Here are the Miss India winners who failed to make it big in Bollywood:

Dia Mirza

Dia was the second-runner up at Femina Miss India in 2000. The glamorous model made her presence felt in Bollywood but did not become a reigning queen. She did few films like "Rehnaa Hai Terre Dil Mein", "Parineeta" and others. Currently, the actress is happily married and settled in her life.

Neha Dhupia

Femina Miss India 2002 winner Neha Dhupia did many films in Bollywood, which didn't do that well at the box office. "Singh Is King", "Julie", "Shootout At Lokhandwala" are some of her films.

Celina Jaitley

Celina Jaitley was crowned Femina Miss India in 2001. Despite her charming appearance, the beauty queen could not impress the audience with her acting.

Diana Hayden

Diana won the 1997 Miss India crown but failed at making a mark in Bollywood. The supermodel appeared on television's most controversial show, "Bigg Boss" season 2.

Yukta Mookhey

In 1999, Yukta Mookhey won the Miss India World title and went on to win Miss World the very same year. She didn't appear in any noteworthy film.

Namrata Shirodkar

Winner of 1993 Femina Miss India title, Namrata Shirodkar, quit Bollywood after doing a few films like "Kachche Dhaage", "Astitva", "Pukar," and "Vaastav".
