Pictures of the long-rumoured Microsoft Lumia 950 XL (aka Cityman) have surfaced online, revealing key design elements of the flagship phablet.
The pictures of the Microsoft Lumia 950 XL were retrieved from WXAP forum by Windows Central.
The first image shows the prototype's front side of the device's 5.7-inch AMOLED QHD display with the trademark Microsoft engraving on top (below speaker grill).
In another picture, the phone's rear-side with 20mp PureView camera with Triple-LED flash is seen.
But due to protective cover on the phone's back side, one cannot establish whether the phone has metal-shell or Polycarbonate, as seen in the Lumia 930.
In the third snapshot, one can see the USB port, believed to be the latest Type C reversible port, which is set to become industry standard in 2016. The recently unveiled OnePlus 2 has this feature.

The Lumia 950 XL, which is said to be launched by late September/early October in New York City, will come with an advanced Iris scanner-based biometric technology for secured unlocking of the phone.
It also reportedly sports a bigger 5.7-inch WQHD screen and comes shipped with Snapdragon 810 Octa-core CPU, 3GB RAM and a 3300 mAh cell.

Besides the phablet, Microsoft is also expected to announce a compact model dubbed Lumia 950. It is said to feature a 5.2-inch WQHD (2560x1440p) display and run on Windows 10 OS, backed by Snapdragon 808 Hexa-core SoC (System on Chip), 3GB RAM and a 3000 mAh battery.
Like all other high-end Lumia series phones, new devices will also boast of top-notch camera specifications. They will come equipped with a 20mp PureView camera on the back and a 5mp wide-angle snapper on the front.
