It's been more than a week since the new Canvas Nitro A311 variant made its way to the company's official site. Now, Micromax has finally released a new phone in India.
The new model A311 is moderate upgrade over the Canvas Nitro A310, which was launched back in September. The former model is almost identical in all aspects to the latter, except the inbuilt memory specification.
Micromax Canvas Nitro A311 houses 16GB inbuilt memory, where as A310 comes packed with 8GB storage space.
It flaunts the same faux-leather coat on the rear-side and sports a 5.0-inch HD (1,280x720p) resolution IPS screen with oleophobic coating to repel dust and finger-print smudges.
Under the hood, Canvas Nitro A311 houses a 1.7GHz Tru Octa-core CPU, Android v4.4.2 KitKat OS, 2GB RAM, a 2,500 mAh battery, a 13mp camera with Sony IMX135 CMOS sensor and a feature-rich 5mp snapper on the front.
Micromax Canvas Nitro A311 India Price and availability details:
As of now, Canvas Nitro A311 can be purchased at Flipkart and Snapdeal for ₹13,599 and ₹13,580 respectively. However, there are no details on when the new Micromax phone be made available at brick-and-mortar stores in India.
Competition:
Micromax Canvas Nitro A311 will be up against the likes of popular MNC brands - Motorola Moto G (Gen 2), Asus Zenfone 5, Microsoft Lumia 535 and domestic players.
