"Memu Saitam – We Love Vizag" is an initiative to raise funds for rebuilding Vizag, which was devastated by the Hudhud cyclone in October. The 12-hour live telethon is set to entertain the audience live on Sunday, 30 November. (Watch live video below)
The event will witness the presence of several Telugu film celebrities, including Chiranjeevi, Venkatesh, Jr NTR, Ram Charan, Balakrishna and Nagarjuna. Also, dance performances, skits, talk shows and cricket matches have been organised as part of the campaign.
Cricket with Stars
A six-over cricket match tournament will be held at Kotla Vijaybhaskar Reddy Indoor Stadium in Yousufguda. The four teams will be led by Venkatesh, Nagarjuna, Jr NTR and Ram Charan. Several other stars were selected through a draw that was held on 27 November.

NTR Team – Srikanth (Vice Captain), Anushka, Tanish, Asmita Sood, Nani, Sai Dharam Tej, Deeksha Seth S.S.Thaman, Prince, Raghu, Sundeep Kishan , Nikhita and Subhra Aiyappa.
Ram Charan Team – Tharun (Vice Captain), Ravi Teja, Sumanth, Gopichand, Kajal Aggawal, Ritu Varma, Archana, Aadi, Varun Sandesh, Ajay, Vadde Naveen, Charmme,Taraka Ratna, Sudheer Babu and Poonam Kaur.
Venkatesh Team – Manchu Vishnu (Vice Captain), Manchu Manoj, Priya Banerjee, Samantha , Dasari Arun, Dr.Rajasekhar, Sushanth, Nithin, Aadarsh, Manchu Lakshmi, Nara Rohit, Sanjana, Tejaswi Madivada and Naveen Chandra.
The tournament will commence at 3pm and go on till 6pm
Mega Draw
Memu Saitam telethon winners can participate in the mega draw at the Annapurna Studios on 30 November.
Tambola with Stars
Fans can play tambola with stars and try to win a luxury car. The event will be held at the same venue from 6:30pm to 8:30pm. Those who have got couple donor passes for 15,000 will be able to take part in the event.
Balakrishna will sing for the first time along with music director Koti and his troupe members. The actor will also take part in a skit along with his "Legend" co-star Sonal Chauhan, reported Gulte.
There are also reports that Kamal Haasan will be making a performance along with music director Devi Sri Prasad as part of the "Memu Saitam" campaign.
Watch Live
All the events will be telecast live on Gemini TV, the official television partner for "Memu Saitam," from 10am to 10pm on Sunday.
The 12-hour telethon will also be live streamed online on the YouTube channel of "Memu Saitam."
123telugu is also giving live coverage of the event on their YouTube channel Mallemalatv.

Dine with Stars
Meanwhile, several fans got an opportunity to dine with their favourite Telugu stars as part of the initiative on Saturday, 29 November. Actors including Chiranjeevi, Balakrishna, Allu Arjun, Brahmanandam, Ravi Teja, Priyamani, Rana Daggubati, Allari Naresh, Nagarjuna, Naga Chaitanya, Venkatesh Mohan Babu, Vishnu Manchu, Prakash Raj and Ali took part in the initiative.
The money collected through the campaign will be donated to the Andhra Pradesh CM relief fund. AP Chief minister Chandrababu Naidu, who will attending the grand finale as a chief guest on 30 November, will receive donations from the Telugu film industry members.
