Vijay Sharma Eliminated from "Masterchef India 4" ahead of its grand finaleTwitter

Reality cookery show "Masterchef India 4" has reached its final stage and with each task a contestants will get eliminated from the show.

And the latest contestant to bid adieu to the show is Masterchef Vijay Sharma. He was among the top six finalists of the show along with Neha Shah, Nikita Gandhi, Ashish Singh, Bhakti Arora and Karishma Sakhrani.

Chef and entrepreneur Sanjeev Kapoor, who is also the judge of "Masterchef India Season 4", gave his best wishes to Vijay, after he got eliminated.

"You have the love and blessings of the entire country. Your new life beings today! @MasterchefVijay @TheVikasKhanna @ranveerbrar @StarPlus," Sanjeev Kapoor tweeted.

But his fans expressed disappointment on Twitter. Several of fans tweeted saying that he deserved to be in the finale and the makers should bring back Vijay to the show.

However, Sanjeev Kapoor defended several of fans' comments and said that "it's a contest and only one can win".

"This is a contest of Sonch, Surat & Swad. At this stage, you would expect India's next MasterChef to surpass each dish @yoginisahakari," he added further.

Meanwhile, the grand finale will have three top finalists, but only one of them will become the winner of the reality show. The grand finale will take place on 12 April in Mumbai.
