One of the most eagerly awaited series, Mass Effect 4 is likely to incorporate more of photo realism or cinematic realism, as signals from BioWare have thus far indicated.

In a job listing on its career website, BioWare, has said that it is looking for a Senior Cinematic Animator. It is highly likely that the company might put the candidate to work on Mass Effect 4.

Though the page does not carry any explicit references to Mass Effect 4, it however says that it is presently working on "several unannounced projects across our studio locations." The page also mentions the "ongoing support of the Mass Effect franchise" as a currently announced project.

The contours of the listing points fingers at BioWare aiming for a bettering the cinematic realism in Mass Effect 4, it is seen highlighting a more detailed on the character type animations. The below points in the Key Responsibilities give us an idea of what the company is aiming at in the next Mass Effect, reported Attack of the Fanboy.

Key Responsibilities (that were listed in the job for Senior Cinematic Animator):

  • Develop and animate cut scenes that support the narrative of the games
  • Animate the human form, giving the character weight, personality, mood and believability
  • Animate in realistic and stylised motion, on both human and creature models
  • Convey mood and emotion through facial animation
  • Define and estimate tasks in a well organised manner

Previous leaks had pointed out that the game is in development and players would be thrilled to find that the game is massive in size and scale. It was also revealed that there were nearly 200 developers working on the game.

Senior development director Chris Wynn was seen calming down some fans when they voiced their disappointment at the multiplayer mode in the game.

"If anyone is concerned that online will take away from single player, I assure you that SP will be MASSIVE in the next Mass Effect," Wynn said in a Twitter post.

Mass Effect 4 is expected to be coming out on PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
