Maruti Suzuki, the country's largest car maker has unveiled a new accessorised Swift facelift model at the Windsong Music Festival in Lonavala, Maharashtra.

The company will be producing 100 units of the latest limited edition of Swift, which gets music-inspired cosmetic changes, reported Rushlane.

Donned in white body colour, the new Swift facelift gets contrasting black roof along with black stripes on the front grille. The side profile of the car gets music-inspired decals and there are also all new yellow-painted alloy wheels.

Under the hood, the Swift facelift special edition will get 1.3 litre multijet engine, 74bhp power and 190Nm peak torque. The engine comes mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox and tuned to offer a fuel efficiency of 25.2kmpl. Prices of the new Swift is yet to be known, however, it looks like music lovers may fancy it.

Recently, Maruti also introduced the new limited edition of its small car Ritz in India. Dubbed Ritz Elate, Maruti's new tall-boy hatchback gets additional features like 2-DIN music system with speakers and Bluetooth connectivity, new floor mats, neck cushions, door visors and steering-wheel covers.

Mechanically, there are no changes and the car continues to get power from the 1.2 litre, 4-cylinder K-Series petrol engine and Fiat-sourced 1.3 litre, 4-cylinder Multijet turbo diesel engines. While the petrol Ritz can churn out 85bhp power and 113Nm peak torque, the diesel model is tuned to generate 75bhp power and 190Nm peak torque.

As for transmission, both petrol and diesel get 5-speed manual transmission and there is also an optional 4-speed automatic for petrol. The fuel efficiency also remains the same with the petrol model, promising to give 18.5kmpl (manual) and 17.16kmpl (automatic) while the diesel Ritz will give 23.2kmpl.
