Although Maruti has not formally conveyed any details of the car, the Ciaz was caught on camera numerous times in India. Earlier last week, the production version of Ciaz was spied at the company's plant by the folks at GaadiWaadi, indicating that the company has commenced the production of Ciaz.

The Ciaz, which is pegged as the game changer of Maruti in the big car segment, will take on the likes of the current market leaders like Hyundai Verna, Honda City and Volkswagen Vento in India. The car will be launched in six variants: 3 petrol - VXi, VXi+, ZXi and 3 diesel - VDi, VDi+ and ZDi in India.
