Now, the residents of Bengaluru can book their favourite Maruti Suzuki cars online through the popular e-commerce website, Flipkart. Yes, you heard it right. After e-commerce site SnapDeal joined hands with Mahindra to sell 2015 Scorpio, the latest auto maker to join the club is the country's largest car maker Maruti Suzuki.
The entire range of Maruti Suzuki models except the new premium hatchback Baleno can now be booked online. For now, the online bookings facility is available only for Bangaloreans.
How does it work?
The customers can choose their favourite Maruti model from the list and book by making a minimum payment of Rs 10,000. Once the booking is confirmed and accepted by the dealers, the next is the test drive. The detail of the test drive and the arrangements made will be notified, which will be followed by regular payments and the documentation process. There is no cash on delivery option for the cars booked through e-retailer Flipkart and the order cannot be cancelled once the payment has been done.

Placing the order by paying the booking amount on Flipkart.

Order gets approved automatically and dealer details are shared with the customers.
Step 3
Dealers contact the customers and initiate the test drive, payment process and other necessary documentation.

Delivery of the vehicle.
