Thanks to the folks at Gaadiwaadi for Ertiga facelift close up.The test mule in the latest spy shot is seen almost undisguised and the only bit that is hiding underneath the black camouflage is the front grille and bumper. Other than that there is nothing dramatic we expect from a mid-life facelift. The changes are likely to be limited to a new front bumper with re-worked headlights and the rear profile of the Ertiga could also get minimal alterations.

There is nothing much to talk in terms of the engine of Ertiga facelift as the model is expected to carry over the same engine of the existing models. The current model is powered by 1.4 litre K-Series petrol engine and 1.3 litre diesel motors.

The sources indicate that there could be a minor tweak in the engine to deliver better performance. Perhaps, one of the big changes that could see in the Ertiga facelift is an automated manual transmission (AMT) with safety lock & parking gear option.

Now coming to the features of the new Ertiga model, rumours suggest that the car will get electrically adjustable and retractable Outside Rear-View Mirrors (ORVMs) and a new updated infotainment system. Speaking of the launch, expect the facelift Ertiga by mid-2015 with a price tag slightly higher than the current version.

Meanwhile, Maruti Suzuki, the country's largest car maker, announced that the company will hike the prices of its entire car range in India from January next year by 2-4%, to offset the rising input costs.
