Nawazuddin Siddiqui has been on top of his game lately, but unfortunately the insanely gifted actor gets overshadowed by the superstars he works with. "Manjhi -- The Mountain Man" will see him in a solo lead, and that would be a treat. But that's not why the film is a must-watch.

This leading lady has been making small yet bold choices and has been on a roll. She may have shot to fame with the viral fake photo leaks, but Sujoy Ghosh's "Ahalya" took her to another level. She has not been a part of out-n-out commercial cinema, but has landed a role in Rajnikanth's film, and that's a big deal.

However, her acting capabilities are unmatched and she has time and again proved why she's here for the long haul.

Nawazuddin Siddiqui

This actor truly needs no introduction. His performances are flawless and the characters he portrays are unimaginably real. The struggling scribe act in "Bajrangi Bhaijaan" has fetched him accolades. Some have even gone to say how he held the second half of the film together with his unique antics.

The 'Real' Connection

The story is inspired by Dashrath Manjhi who carved a path through mountains using just a hammer and chisel so that his village (close to Gaya, Bihar) could have easy access to medical facilities, which was roughly 70 Km away.

Ketan Mehta

The filmmaker has a knack for making edgy films. His previous film "Rang Rasiya" wasn't a box office success but it did shed light on celebrated 19th century painter Raja Ravi Varma. Best bit is the filmmaker never deviates from or tweaks the basic storyline to suit the audience's taste, which is one of reasons why "Manjhi" will make for an interesting watch.
