Manchu Manoj's "Current Theega" is set for a grand worldwide release on 31 October.
Post Diwali, the G Nageswara Reddy directorial will be released in 25 foreign countries and this happens to be the first Telugu movie to release in such a large number of international markets.
Actor-turned-producer Vishnu Manchu has produced "Current Theega" with a whopping budget under his home banner 24 Frames Factory, which is one of the lead film and TV series production companies in Andhra Pradesh. He has planned to release the movie in the international markets through his overseas distribution company 24 Frames Factory based in New York, USA.
The producer is planning to release "Current Theega" in foreign countries such as the USA, Oman, Australia, South Africa, the UK, Tanzania, Malaysia, Canada, Sharjah, Uganda, Dubai, Nigeria, Abu Dhabi, Zambia, Ras al-Khaimah, Singapore, Fujairah, Germany, Umm al-Quwain, Switzerland (Provisional), Kuwait, Thailand (Provisional), Qatar, Sri Lanka (Provisional) and Bahrain on 30 October, Vishnu's PRO told IBTimes India edition.
"Current Theega" is a remake of director Ponram's 2013 hit Tamil film "Varuthapadatha Valibar Sangam". Reddy, who has penned the screenplay for the Telugu version, has made several changes in the script to suit the taste of the local audience. "Second Hand" fame director Kishore Tirumala has written dialogues for the movie.
Manchu and Rakul Preet Singh starrer is touted to be a perfect mix of joy, fun, thrill and entertainment. The film, which has got 'A' Certificate from the Censor Board, has already created a lot of buzz.
The Indo-Canadian adult star, Sunny Leone will be seen in a crucial role. She is said to play a teacher in this big-budget film, which boasts of all the commercial ingredients to suit the taste of the Telugu audience. With all essential entertainment quotient, the exhibitors around the world are gung-ho about the film.
Initially, "Current Theega" was scheduled to release in theatres on 17 October. But Manchu decided to hold the release following the huge disaster caused by cyclone Hudhud in Vizag.
Slated to hit the screens this Friday, one must wait and see to know whether "Current Theega" will be able to impress the viewers or not.
