The much-hyped Telugu movie, Mana Oori Ramayanam, featuring Prakash Raj and Priyamani in the lead roles has garnered positive response from audience.
Mana Oori Ramayanam is a suspense thriller film, which is an official remake of hit Malayalam film Shutter written and directed by theatre actor and playwright Joy Mathew. Besides playing the lead role, Prakash Raj has also directed and produced the movie with Ramjee Narasiman under the banners Prakash Raj Productions and First Copy Pictures.
Hero (Prakash Raj) is an NRI, who has a small commercial property in the city. He meets his friends and has drinks with them in a vacant room of the property. His friend locks him with a sex worker (Priyamani) inside the room and promises to unlock it after some time. But he does not return for two days. The rest of the movie deals with the plight of the two inside the room.
The audience say Mana Oori Ramayanam has a simple and impressive story and Prakash Raj has done a brilliant work both as director as well as actor. Priyamani has also delivered good performance. Raghubabu, Prudhviraj, Satyadev Kancharana and other supporting artistes have done justice to their roles.
