Interesting to find how Zlatan Ibrahimovic will react to this piece of newsReuters

It would turn out to be a dynamite of a news if current Manchester United star Zlatan Ibrahimovic, an unique personality in the world of football, joins Indian Super League side Delhi Dynamos at some point of his career. At least, that is what World Cup winner with Italy, Gianluca Zambrotta, the coach of the side, hopes to.

The statement by the former Azzurri right back mentioning that he would try and convince getting the lanky forward to play for the Indian side cannot be brushed off as another impossible venture. Delhi Dynamos have made quite a name for themselves by roping in football legends like Alessandro del Piero and Roberto Carlos in the past.

They also made history earlier this year by becoming the first ISL side to play a friendly match against a Premier League side, when they played West Brom at the Hawthorns in the preseason.

"Given his fan following in India, I think Zlatan would want to come and end his career here," said Zambrotta, 39, to the Indian Express. "On my end, I will definitely try and convince him to play for Delhi Dynamos.

"India will soon be a big destination for international football. Given the level of competitiveness in the Indian Super League and the quality of Indian players, I am sure it will be amongst the top five football leagues of the world in the next decade," Zambrotta added.

Zambrotta played alongside Ibrahimovic at Italian side AC Milan in the past and won the Serie A title together in the 2010-11 season, as well as the Italian Super Cup in 2011.
