The television industry has always tried to come up with creative ideas to entertain children. From "Vikram Aur Betaal" to "Chhota Bheem", the industry made several TV shows that kids enjoyed since 90's.

Whether it is animated or not, the tiny tots like to watch stories that have action and jokes.

As Children's Day is approaching, let us recall a few classic TV series, which have always been the kids' favourite, including the current TV shows.

Here is the list of the top 10 kids special TV Serials of all time.

"Malgudi Days"

The story of a boy named Swami and his friends who live in an imaginary village named Malgudi has always managed to entertain the kids. Based on RK Narayan's novel, "Malgudi Days" had 39 episodes and had a huge fan following.

"Vikram Aur Betaal"

"Vikram Aur Betaal" was a 1988 Doordarshan serial. The classic show used to tell different moral stories, which were narrated by a king named Vikram to a ghost named Betaal.

"The Jungle Book"

Doordarshan used to telecast several shows for kids, and one of the shows that entertained the 90's kids is "The Jungle Book", which had Mowgli, Shere Khan, Baloo, Kaa among others. The 1989 TV series was an adaptation of Rudyard Kipling's original book of the same name. 

"Son Pari"

The fantasy-adventure TV series was about a little girl named Fruity who had a gem, which, when rubbed, a fairy "Son Pari" used to appear with a friend Altu. The Star Plus serial kept kids hooked to the show.

"Shaktimaan"

"Shaktimaan" is one of the coolest superheroes of all time in the Indian TV industry. The series aired on Doordarshan is about the superhero and his alter ego Gangadhar. It had always entertained the 90's kids as well as adults.

"Karishma Ka Karishma"

"Karishma Ka Karishma" is a remake of a popular American science fiction sitcom "Small Wonder" and was aired on Star Plus. The story was about a little girl robot who was designed as a human. 

"Hatim"

Kids liked the adventurous story of an emperor's son named "Hatim", who had the responsibility to spread the message of peace and good. The series even had action sequences with some moral at the end of each episode.

"Shaka Laka Boom Boom"

The TV series "Shaka Laka Boom Boom" was about a school going boy who had a magic pencil. Interestingly, whatever the boy used to draw with that pencil used to come to life.

"Baal Veer"

"Baal Veer" is a TV series that began airing on SAB TV in 2012 and was about a supernatural boy who confronted evil power.

"Chhota Bheem"

Like several kid shows on Pogo TV, "Chhota Bheem" is the one of the most watched series. The adventures of a boy named Bheem and his friends have always thrilled the tiny tots.
