After capturing hearts with his very different avatar in "Bajrangi Bhaijaan", Salman Khan has truly nailed it with his soothing voice in the title track of "Hero".

'Main Hoon Hero Tera' sung by Salman, the producer of the film, has triggered more excitement around the film's release. "Hero" marks the debut of Aditya Pancholi's son Sooraj Pancholi and Suniel Shetty's daughter Athiya Shetty.

Salman has shared the song on his Twitter handle:

The song was reportedly recorded in five hours at midnight. After watching the first uncut version of the film, the "Bodyguard" actor decided to record the track that night itself. As recording studios were closed by then, respective arrangements were made as soon as possible.

On Thursday, the teaser video of the song was released creating much buzz online, and today, the full song video is on a heart-stealing spree.

Salman has developed a strong bond with the film's debutants – Athiya and Sooraj – and thus, he decided to record the title track in his voice. The "Dabangg" actor has also accompanied the actors to several promotional events.

The film is a remake of 1983 Subhash Ghai directorial of the same title that featured Jackie Shroff and Meenakshi Seshadri.

The remake is produced by the "BB" actor and Subhash Ghai.

"Hero" also has Govinda and Vinod Khanna in important roles and Salman has also made a special appearance in it. The Nikhil Advani directorial is slated to be released on 11 September.
