Tollywood superstar Mahesh Babu is the latest one to join the league of actors who have thanked Salman Khan for introducing budding actors Suraj Pancholi and Athiya Shetty to films through "Hero".

Mahesh Babu rarely watches Hindi movies and even if he does, he rarely makes comments on it publicly. However, the actor, who has taken a break from film activities after the release of his latest blockbuster "Srimanthudu" and is spending the break with his family, took to Twitter after watching "Hero" recently.

The "Srimanthudu" star reportedly visited a multiplex in Hyderabad along with his family over the weekend and watched the Hindi movie that released on 11 September. He was impressed by the movie and the performance of Suraj Pancholi and Athiya Shetty.

After watching "Hero", Mahesh Babu shared his experience with his followers on Twitter on Sunday.

The actor tweeted: "Saw 'hero '. Thanks to salman for giving the industry 2 promising stars Suraj Pancholi and Athiya shetty . Congratulations to the entire team ..a job well done :)"

Directed by Salman Khan, "Hero" is a romantic action film and it is a remake of Subhash Ghai's 1983 film by the same name. The film marks the debut of Aditya Pancholi's son Sooraj and Sunil Shetty's daughter Athiya.

Both the newcomers have impressed the audience with their acting. The movie has collected over Rs 25 crore at the worldwide box office in its first weekend.

Mahesh Babu is one of the most popular actors down south. He is a shy person. He neither speaks to the media too often, nor he is quite active on social networking sites like Twitter and Facebook.

However, whenever he makes a comment on a public platform, it creates a lot of buzz. His comment on "Hero" is expected to help its prospects at the ticket counters in southern states, say the experts.
