LG G3 Stylus with 5.5-inch Display UnveiledLG Newsroom

Hype around LG G4 has gained momentum with its release date drawing near. Every bit of the upcoming flagship smartphone has been leaked over the last few weeks, and now it's being reported that LG fans could be in for a big disappointment as a leaked photo of the device is seen with a feature inferior to what everyone has been expecting.

The LG G4 is seen with Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 and not the expected Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 in a photo of the purported smartphone shared by Twitter user Winston W. (via G4Games). In the leaked image, the device is seen with Adreno 418 GPU and the processor clocks at 1440 MHz.

However, it is not sure if the image is that of the LG G4. Many will question the authenticity of the leaked photo despite Krait 450 label, as it shows 28nm build process though the Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 is supposed to be built on 20nm. It was earlier reported that LG was facing overheating issue with Snapdragon 810.

Interestingly, The REM had earlier claimed in its report that the LG G4 might come with Qualcomm Snapdragon 801/802/805/808 that clocks at 3GHz. It also reported that the device might have features like a 5.7 inch HD –IPS +LCD display, 15 to 17MP main camera and 3 to 4MP front snapper, Android 5.0 Lollipop, and 3/4GB RAM. iKnow Today also claimed in its report that the device might be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 or 810 processor and house a 3500 mAH battery.

It is also reported that the device might sport a 5.5-inch Quad HD LCD display with 2,560x1,440 pixels, powered by a 64-bit octa-core Snapdragon 810, come packed with 32GB internal memory and 3GB RAM, and house 16MP-20MP main camera with OIS feature. However, GSM Arena reported that the device will come with in-house 16MP main camera module featuring a wide f/1.8 aperture that allows 80% more light than the 13MP snapper found in LG G3, and a new front camera that utilizes ultra-thin IR filter.
