It's the survival of the fittest for companies in the smartphone race. But there is more than just being stronger to win over people's trust. Lenovo seemed to have got the knack to attract consumers towards its products and its A6000 is a good example of it.

The Chinese tech firm is not stopping at that as it just announced a new smartphone, Lenovo P70, in China with impressive features. The mid-ranger is gunning for victory with its fine line of specs in its home market.

The new handset is already listed on the company's official website, giving details of the specs packed inside this new entry. Based on the specs, it is not a tough call that the P70 will gain similar success like A6000 in emerging markets.

Lenovo P70 stands out in the crowd with some great features like its massive 4,000mAh battery that can last up to 18 hours on talk time or 696 hours on standby on 3G networks. Also, the P70 is going to be among the few mid-range smartphones that support high-speed 4G LTE connectivity.

Other specifications include a 5-inch HD IPS display with 1280 x 720 pixel resolution, a 13mp rear facing camera with autofocus and LED flash as well as a 5mp front snapper. The P70 is powered by a 1.7GHz octa-core MediaTek (MT6752) processor and backed by 2GB RAM, Mali R760-MP2 GPU for graphics. There's 16GB on-board storage that can be expanded up to 32GB via microSD.

In China, the handset is available for CNY 1,399, which translates to roughly $224 or ₹14,000. Lenovo failed to mention the availability of P70 in India but for this price it is surely a strong contender in the smartphone race.
