Lenovo K3 Note was a grand success in India and continues to perform exceptionally well in the sub-Rs. 10,000 market. After briefly teasing the launch of K3 Note-successor, Lenovo has sent out media invites for an event to launch the K4 Note in India.

In the invites sent out to the media, Lenovo says, "Save your date..5th January, 2016," confirming the launch of K4 Note, widely referred to as #KillerNote2016 on Twitter. The event will be held in New Delhi where all the specs, features and price of the Lenovo K4 Note will be official.

But fans may not have to wait so long as Lenovo has already started teasing key specs of the phone and sources are putting together some insightful information.

According to Lenovo, the K4 Note smartphone will feature a full metal body and have 3GB RAM. But rumours are rife about the massive upgrade in the K4 Note with 32GB built-in memory and an integrated fingerprint scanner, making it the second budget device after Coolpad Note 3 to have a biometric security system.

Sources have also confirmed to Gadgets 360 that a fingerprint scanner is indeed expected and that the K4 Note will carry a price tag nearly same as its predecessor. Lenovo launched the K3 Note in India for Rs. 9,999 earlier this year and with the teased features at an affordable price, K4 Note is going to rule the budget segment next year.

Lenovo K4 Note is expected to feature the same 5.5-inch Full HD display among other undisclosed specs.
