Last week, Lenovo had announced to host an event on 25 June in New Delhi. Initially, the company did not give any clue about the event, but a few days later, it began a promotional campaign "In the Name of K3", confirming that the K3 Note will indeed be released on Thursday.

Lenovo's 'In the Name of K3' had asked fans to come up with creative excuses to throw away their old phones to buy the new K3 Note. The response from the public was so overwhelming that more than 1,100 people literally buried their handsets and posted their soiled phones' images online [HERE].

Lenovo K3 Note houses a high capacity 3000 mAh battery, which can run the phone for up to 36 hours' talk time and close to 750 hours (that's 31 days) in standby mode.

Rumour has it that the Lenovo K3 Note might hit Indian stores with a sub-₹10,000 price tag. If this turns out to be true, we believe K3 Note will become the cheapest smartphone to boast of full HD display and intensify the price-war among smartphone makers in India.
