The third flash sale of Lenovo's flagship K3 Note smartphone on Wednesday saw 45,000 units of the device run out of stock in just 5 seconds. In the three successful sales, Lenovo has sold nearly 1.5 lakh units. Registrations for the next sale on 29 July will open at 6 pm on Wednesday, 22 July, on Flipkart, Lenovo's exclusive partner to sell K3 Note devices online.

In a brief tweet on Wednesday, Lenovo India confirmed 27,000 units of its black K3 Note and 18,000 units of the white variant sold out in 2.7 seconds and 2.3 seconds, respectively. The black K3 Note remains popular among consumers and Lenovo is fulfilling the demand by bringing extra units every week.

Lenovo's first flash sale for K3 Note took place on 8 July, when the company sold over 47,000 units in 5.2 seconds. In the second flash sale last week, Lenovo sold 50,000 units in 8 seconds. Demand for the handset continues to grow even after a month of its launch.

Those who missed the chance to purchase K3 Note during Wednesday's flash sale can register for next week's sale, starting 6 pm. Registrations are mandatory for participation in the sale. The company will hold the next sale on 29 July on Flipkart, where the black and white handsets will be sold separately at 12 pm and 6 pm, respectively.
