The trailer of upcoming Malayalam film "Cousins" has been released. The Vysakh directorial, which has Kunchacko Boban, Indrajith, Joju George, Suraj Venjaramoodu, Vedhika and Nisha Aggarwal in the lead, is scheduled to release during Christmas.

The trailer, released on Friday, assures that the upcoming film is a complete family entertainer with comedy, action, suspense, dance and music. The story of "Cousins" revolves around four cousins, Sam (Kunchacko), Joji (Indrajith), Pauly (Suraj) and Tony (Joju).

The trailer begins with a black and white flashback scene, featuring Kunchacko and Mia George's budding romance. The old Malayalam romantic song "Oru Pushpam Mathramen" from the film "Pareeksha" (1967) is played in the background. The scene itself makes the audience laugh as the lead characters are seen wearing school uniforms.

Later, the famous melancholic song "Maanasa Maine Varu" from the film "Chemeen" (1965) played in the background, will take viewers to an emotional situation that shows Mia's marriage with someone else. Joji consoles Sam and others saying that he will get a better girl than Mia. The trailer then introduces Nisha Aggarwal and Vedhika's characters in a royal background.

As earlier reports had revealed, the story is about Sam's memory lapse and his cousins' efforts to find out the reason behind it.

The promo then goes through some humour and action sequences, after which the cousins will find that Sam met with an accident while he was in the same palace. How they reveal the truth behind Sam's life forms the crux of the film.

The film also has Pradeep Rawath, Kalabhavan Shajon, P Balachandran, Santhosh and Shiju in pivotal roles.

Sethu of Sachi-Sethu combination has penned the script of the multi-starrer and M Jayachandran has composed the songs, which are penned by Murukan Kattakada and Rafeek Ahammed. While Gopi Sunder has done the background music, the cinematography is done by Vinod Illampally, and the art direction is handled by Joseph Nellickal.

The upcoming film shot in Bangalore, Kodaikanal, Pollachi, Athirapally and Kochi is produced by Vaishak Rajan under the banner of Vyshakhhuma Cinemas.
