Kapil Sharma is easily one of India's best stand-up comics and his rise to the top is phenomenal. "Comedy Nights with Kapil" became an instant hit and has been running for over two years now. The viewers can connect to him and he can make them laugh like it's a cake walk. But, are these factors enough for a successful Bollywood debut?

"Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon?" is set to release on 25 September and the hoopla around the film is positive. Below are a few pointers that may aid in the ship's smooth sail.

Kapil Sharma

On his hit TV show, he has not only stood on the stage mouthing random jokes but also actively participated in the gags. Although, they were mostly light-hearted, he did flaunt some acting chops.

Also, he appeared very eager to learn the skill (acting) when celebrity guests were around. Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone and Rohit Shetty were on the show to promote "Chennai Express" and he happily volunteered to act with the "Bajirao Mastani" actress in a fun skit.

Abbas-Mustan

The director duo is known to make films with a thrill, suspense element embedded in them. But this time they have taken the fun route. From the trailer, it appears it's an out-and-out comic caper and the decision to rope in Kapil then makes sense considering he's sort of an authority in the genre.

The four ladies

Elli Avram, Manjari Fadnis, Simran Kaur Mundi, and Sai Lokar play Kapil's love interests in the film. While it's difficult to say who plays the wife and who the girlfriend, the ride sure is going to be a fun one.

It may seem like an interesting arrangement on the big screen, but Kapil recently confessed he's not the one who can handle too many ladies.

Storyline

It's the classic case of three wives and a girlfriend. It may be what the audience has watched before, only with a different set of actors, but it's going to be thrilling to watch Kapil wade his way out of the confusion.
