Special editions are one of the best marketing techniques to increase sales during the ongoing festive season. Many manufacturers are already launched their set of new edition vehicles and latest to join the Kawasaki India with a special edition for the Ninja 300 featuring new colour combination.

Though the company has not released an official statement yet, the vehicle is already on display in dealerships. The special edition's colour combination is in line with the colours of the 30th anniversary special edition motorcycles, which Kawasaki launched in the global market across the Ninja lineup. The new colour combination is dubbed as Lime green and Pearl Stardust white.

The special edition gets badging around the fuel filler cap reports Motorbeam.com. Additionally, it gets '300' written on the fairing. The special edition is differentiated from the regular model only on colours meaning the mechanical department remains untouched.

The motorcycle continues to draw power from liquid-cooled, four-stroke parallel twin engine that develops 38.4bhp at 11,000rpm and 27Nm of torque at 10,000 mated to six-speed transmission. The motorcycle measures 2,015mm in length, 715mm width and 1110mm in height with 1405mm wheelbase. The motorcycle comes with ground clearance of 140mm and weights 172kg.

The Kawasaki Ninja 300 locks horn against the Yamaha R3. One of the disappointing miss in the Ninja 300 is the lack of ABS which will be introduce to the next generation, due in 2017.
